798 is just a symbol of art in that not-that-art place. Everybody loves being there during weekend to show his/her heart of love. However, the desire of fame do makes me feel it is part of the art. :)
ReplyDelete798 is one of the most bizarre places i've ever been. an art district in beijing is already something unusual, and a lot of the work was surprisingly provocative, but there was also an exhibition run by nike, and other signs of corporate sponsorship which seemed hugely out of place in 'communist' china.
